March 26, 2021. The expansion of the Trans Mountain Pipeline will increase oil tanker traffic in the coastal waters of southern British Columbia. This has raised questions about safety and environmental protection. Resource Works, a non-profit research organization, recently completed a unique project examining oil tanker safety in the area. Margareta Dovgal, research director at Resource Works, shares the study’s findings.
