Coast to Coast with Renato Zane – Episode 39, “Trailblazer”
March 12, 2021. Karen Adams was in the first cohort of women hired by the Royal Canadian Mounted Police and spent a total 28 years serving in the predominantly male force. For much of her life, she has been an advocate for positive change both inside the RCMP and in the larger community, focusing on women and diversity issues. She talks candidly about her experiences (both good and bad) and about the organizational culture in the RCMP, with some thoughts about necessary changes underway.
